For diplomatic plates there are two special series in use. Here are two examples shown from the former DIN-series.
Here the normal diplomatic series. The code is always O followed by a hyphen and the embassy code (here 80 = Libanon) and a serial number.
Anotherv series is issued with the code of Bonn BN, the former capitol of West-Germany. In this series the code of Bonn is also followed by an embassy code (here 49 = U.K.) and a serial number.
