The two plates shown above are dealer plates from Gibraltar. These plates are extremly rare, because the
need in the little area of Gibraltar is very limited. Most often these plates are in use to transfer cars from the
docks to the dealers's showroom. As far as I know every dealer obtains one number for his use. This number then is made in several pairs. DLR means dealer.
The first plate DLR 2 is made of paper. This kind of dealer plates is widely in use. The seconde type shown DLR 45 is made from flexible magnetic plastic. These plates are more and more in use now.
